Queens Leisure Centre
We allow students to train at their own pace and accept and recognise their different individual abilities. We do know that most students will make rapid progress once training is undertaken.
I sometimes go swimming and use the gym at Queen's Leisure Centre and it is not bad for a council run centre. The gym is a little on the dark and dingy side, but that is due to the lighting and not the equipment. The staff are helpful, but do not seem to 'mingle' with the members that often, which is a shame. Overall, the centre offers good value for money, especially with the Goldcard scheme where you pay £24 per month and with that you can use the gym and swim as often as you like! Bit better than paying £40+ at private gyms...
