Gourmet is situtaed close to the Cinemas on Clements Rd in Ilford. It is also in a line of restaurants that are established there such as Nandos, Frankie & Bennys and Bollywood grill. There is ample parking but it is all pay and display. It is also possible to go shopping at the exchange and walk to the restaurant...which I think many people do on the weekends. It is very crowded on saturday and sunday lunch times and you may have to wait for a table. The buffet is the most famous and the daytime prices vary from night time (which are double!). The service is good and it is also clean. They dont take much time to serve your drinks and you are then free to get you buffet...which is pretty stardard with a lot of fried foods. The prices are quite reasonable and you can also take away boxes of food with your choice from the buffet. It is an average experience and I would rate it as a McDonalds or a KFC.

I always love places where you can eat however you want for a set amount of money. They even reduce the price during certain times. The place is very comfy inside and makes you unaware of the outside. When you step out it's like you are from another world. There's a wide selection of their buffet meal. They also do takeaways but find them expensive because they do not fit as much as you can sit down and eat for.Very good for a romantic meal.Maybe you just want to reflect on your own over different tastes of food. This is the place to be.They start offering meals from lunchtime to well into the evening.Evenings are a little expensive but still good as there's no limit to the amount of food you eat.
