    Approximately 2 years ago I started to develop severe headaches. I was eventually persuaded to visit the Dr. Further follow scans told me I had arthritis in my vertebrae in the base of the neck which was causing the problem, I did nothing about it except to continue to take painkillers, these seemed to do very little. A severe headache on Christmas day 2010 (that was not initiated by my mother in law!) sent me to bed for the day. I had to do something – my wife suggested a visit to the acupuncturist which I promptly did after seeing Wendy Francis advert in Village Help. Wendy was very professional and suggested a mixture of Shiatsu and Acupuncture. Initially I had regular appointments starting with one a week and I am now down to one every 5 weeks or so. The headaches are now fairly rare I am pleased to say and I am sure with Wendy’s help they may disappear or at least be controlled. I still continue the treatments on a maintenance schedule which seems to keep on top of the problem. Thanks Wendy.
