Im afraid to say that i was less than happy with the service i recieved from this shop. When i ordered my bridesmaids dress they were less than helpful and had a limited stock available. I was told upon ordering that i needed to pay a deposit, fine, no problem. I was also told at this time that the dresses would be ready within 10 weeks, great! We didnt need them to be this quick as we ordered them in October 2006, wedding is July 2007. 10 weeks passed and nothing from them, 12 weeks passed so i called them to enquire, a rather rude lady treated me as if i was rather inferior to her and told me matter of factly that they are never ready that quick so i needed to wait for May. I phoned in May and booked an appointment for a fitting, after being assured that would be ample time. The end of May came and i phoned to confirm my appointment, not only had they not written my appointment down but the dresses were not ready. This is a day before all the bridesmaids were travelling from around the country to try them on, they told me they had no dresses for us. They hadnt even bothered to call me so it was a jolly good job i called them. Bare in mind its now only 8 weeks until the wedding, we ordered them in October and they are STILL not ready. I aked when they would be ready and i was told, again by another rude lady, that she didnt know "erm about 4 weeks before hand". I replied "four weeks isnt that a bit tight for alterations?" "nothing i can do" was the reply i got. mmm not so useful! So the saga continues, i am now panicking that we will have bridesmaids dresses that wont fit, if any at all. I wanted to advise other brides about this problem at Principia so they do not have to go throught the trauma i am at the moment, trying to get my bridesmaids dresses made on time. So now i have paid a big deposit and still have no dresses.
