    There were initial smiles and promises, but as soon as the dress was paid for in full both women owners behaved in a rude, arrogant and intimidating manner. They made it so difficult for us to arrange an initial viewing and fitting of the dress because they were just too busy !! that we were forced to remove it in order to inspect and try it on. They then refused to arrange for alterations to the dress because once it had been taken from the shop they felt no obligation to their customers. Steer well clear of this ‘family run business offering a personal service’. Once they have been paid in full, their interest level drops completely as they move on to the next sale. For a dress shop selling such high quality products, we were horrified at unprofessional way in which they behaved. Shop around, you are certain to find the service you expect elsewhere.

    Don't get your dress altered here

    I would like to say that I was polite at all times in the shop as I was aware that they were in possession of my wedding dress! I went to my first fitting as arranged to be told rudely " It might not even be here as there are other people getting married before you you know". The dress had not been altered. After numerous fittings my dress did not fit properly for the wedding day and was lopsided. (I didn't lose weight nor am I lopsided- I wore the same underwear for each fitting). After being quoted "definatley less than £100" for the alterations I finally paid £110- haggled down from £170! Buying a wedding dress from this shop was a very stressful experience. The positive is that it was the dress I had dreamed of and for a good price as it was a sample- I only wish I had taken it away to be altered but I believed I would get the most professional service from here- I was wrong!
