I have a local cineworld in southampton but we tend to go to odeon more because its more convenient.
But when we were on holiday in yorkshire we decided to visit the one in Hull to see Confessions of a Shopaholic.
When we arrived we checked the times of films on the board outside, they were easy to read and understand.
When we went in there was a pick-a-mix and ben and jerrys counter on the left hand side, on the right hand side is the automated ticket collection machines and 3 tills to buy tickets from a manned desk. In front is a counter for popcorn, drinks and hot snacks. As always for most cinemas drinks, popcorn etc is very overpriced and as we were going for dinner afterwards we didn't get any so cannot comment on the food.
We went straight to a till and asked for 2 adult tickets to the film which was at 4pm. The woman who greeted us was very friendly and served us quickly. The ticket prices were £5.25 each. They are cheaper if you visit before 6pm.
When we came back a little bit later to see the film, we came in, sat down and watched the entire film and not a single person asked us for our tickets.
The seats are very comfortable with lots of leg room, not too many adverts and the film was great.
All in all cineworld is great for value for money but the security was lacking it seems anyone could come in and grab an empty seat without paying.
