Accommodation Warehouse

my son rented a house from this agency while at Hull Uni. The house was very untidy when they took it on i.e. fridge in the garden, appliances not working, damp areas etc etc. When my son and his friends left the accommodation this agency kept back half of everybody's deposit on the proviso that the house was left in a bad state. My son made sure all was good when he left (he was last one out) and he is renowned for his tidying abilities. The letter from Accommodation W stated that they would provide photographs if requested to prove damage which we have been requesting by telephone and letter since Sept 2007. The guy in the office pretends he will get it sorted but absoulutely nothing ever happens. We are in process of small claims court with this company. It seems as though because they are students that they are sitting duck for having their deposits withheld by this company. All we have ever requested is some kind of proof but nothing!!!! I warn others as parents to give this company a wide berth as they are out to add further financial burden to the already huge one students have to take on. There are loads of other agencies in Hull so pick carefully and take b4 and after photos of accommodations.
