We are based in Gateshead, in the UK. With over 20 years experience in the pro-audio industry, our reputation is built on the quality and range of our products and services. At one extreme our studio design service can transform an empty field into a recording studio complex, fully commissioned, with all staff trained; at the other our workshop can produce a custom loom.
Our users have told us that we make some of the best audio equipment in the world. It enables engineers to take their music to any recording medium in the simplest, clearest way. When you buy our equipment you are buying a hand made, world class audio tool that will give you trouble-free service for many years to come.
As well as manufacturing our own range of high-end pro audio products, DACS distributes software and equipment from other exceptional manufacturers: Algorithmix plug ins, Cycling '74 software and plug ins, Eowave sensors, Keith McMillen controllers, Ms Pinky vinyl, Pearl microphones, Soundman in-ear microphones, Triple P loudspeakers and Wilson Benesch carbon fibre studio monitors.
DACS are able to offer a full range of creative acoustic design and consultancy services.
Our consultancy brings to bear a uniquely wide range of expertise and experience, coupled with design originality and an eminently practical approach. We produce well considered solutions to specific problems, and thus provide efficiency and economy. We do not tend to use off-the-shelf solutions that are usually both expensive and 'catch all'. We prefer to specifically design the acoustic solutions required for each individual situation.
DACS has been working on the design and treatment of recording studios over a number of years for a wide range of clients. Our designs have ranged from ground up architectural projects to small-scale modifications in existing facilities. Controlled sound with visual impact characterises many of our designs, with sound control being the lead that the visual design follows.
In addition we have worked with many commercial clients - restaurants, bars and nightclubs - on the acoustics of their venues, for sound leakage issues, internal sound exposure legislation for staff, and treatment to control the sound produced, resulting in many great sounding bars and venues that don't disturb the neighbours!
