After going for a meal at Akbars I cannot understand all the hype about this place the waiters were quite arrogant and food was average.

I went to the blue bicycle for my birthday meal, the service was poor staff were messing around and we had to keep asking for things all the time. The food was overpriced for what it was, and both starter and main course was luke warm. I will NOT be back this restaurant needs to improve on all aspects of it before it charges you a fortune.

I really wanted this meal to be nice but was disapointed myself and partner had cheesy nachos to start which were very nice however we both had fajitas I had vegatable and partner had chicken and beef. The vegetables on both plates tasted as if they were pickled drenched in vinegar the salsa was stale and tasteless, I asked the waitress why it all tasted so vinegary and she went off to find out and never returned, when she did she said nothing and cleared away the plates so i asked again and she said she didnt know because the vegetables came in water????. Anyway I wont be going back.

Food is brilliant, have been at least 4 times this year and have not been disapointed, Its so much diffrent to chinese food its much more fragrant and lighter, service is always first class, I cant think of anything to improve on except perhaps a little more dipping sauce on the starters.

The women who showed us to our table was very miserable and almost rude, Starters of mussels were nice but quite a few were closed, my order of crab cakes were terrible and side salad was old and stale with muck on the leaves. Waited long time for main course pizza which was very nice apart from the thick black hair which was baked into the cheese. Won't be going back was poor value for money for the quality of food.
