This bar used to be good, but now they let so many chavs in it's unreal! Cheap but crass.
Good for a few cheap drinks where you don't have to queue. Not that great for atmosphere, but it's right in the centre of town and there's usually not a crowd, so worth popping in if you can't be bothered to queue at the bars next door.
Was a good bar, until they let more people in than it could hold (well it seemed that way anyway!). Could hardly move when you eventually got in (and the bouncer's used to wind you up in the queue by letting their mates in at the front). Not worth the effort.
This was Derby's first proper milkshake bar. So many varieties and so tasty too! Must go here if you want a tasty shake!
If you like the historical, haunted side of Derby then you want to go here. Old traditional pub with some great prices for beers and food. Must try the ghostwalk when you get the chance!
This bar is pretty decent and the buffet is brilliant! Always cooked fresh and always available. Recommended.
This might not be the livliest pub in Derby, but the beer's great and there is a separate bit for bands, which play every week. Quality!
This place looks really good and is a popular place for most revellers. However, it's really poorly laid out and there's always a queue at the bar. The food is terrible - I've had three meals there and on two occasions I've been ill the next day... That's enough for me.
Ahh the Friary... A standard bar for the student in you. Great drink offers, plenty of atmosphere and the food is brilliant for the price! Always seem to have to queue to get in the club though, even though when you get in there it is empty... Strange, but soon fills up!
This is a nice character pub just out of the city centre. Good atmosphere and has a beer garden to the rear. Good if you want a change from the modern bars in town.
