Terrible

Went in to look at and buy, if the deal was right, the dearest used car they had on the whole forecourt which was an aston Martin v12 vantage. Looked on the Internet and compared the price which was not the cheapest but reasonably close and in the colour scheme I wanted...walked into the showroom and a salesman was on his computer...even though I was looking at the dearest car in the whole place and he saw me he carried on working and I had to approach him to ask if he hd the keys as the car was locked. "Just give me a minute" was his reply without lifting his head and acknowledging me. A few minutes later he brought the keys out and opened the car. Great, I sat in it, loved the interior and asked him if I could start it up? "No, we can't start the car up in the showroom!" Sorry, I asked? We have to roll it outside and start it up, why I asked? We can't start it up in the showroom with customers in it? If there was another customer in the showroom then they must have been hiding in the disabled toilet because I couldn't see anyone. I asked again, so you will not start it up? "No, we can't" I then said so I should go and buy it from aston Martin? Shrug of the shoulders from the salesman and I left...shocking, nobody should have to put up with such poor salesmanship but certainly this dealership shouldn't be trying to sell this car; the only chance you have of selling it is somebody just buying it over the phone, somebody who doesn't want to test drive it or hear the v12...stick to selling fords as you can't sell premium cars. Disappointing main dealer experience, beautiful car but overpriced and woeful sales approach for such a premium product. Buy from aston Martin, which is what I did after leaving here...completely different experience, cheaper and 12 months aston approved warranty.
