A.R. Moody Electrical undertake all electrical work from fitting additional plug sockets to completely rewiring homes and commercial premises, in and around the Surrey area. According to government reports defective, fixed electrical installations in UK households cause around 30 deaths and 1,150 serious injuries each year. Add 12,500 fires in homes across the UK that have an electrical source of ignition (many resulting in injury or death) and you can see why there is a need to have tighter safety standards.

'Part P' is a building a regulation - anyone carrying out serious alterations to your electrical work (so, running new circuits to new fittings etc) needs to be registered with a 'Part P' scheme. A.R.Moody electrical are registered with the NIC EIC Domestic Installer Scheme. All of our work is carried out in accordance with BS7671, the British safety standard for electrical installations.

Electricians have to pass a test to receive Part P registration. Not all electricians have achieved this standard. We at A.R.Moody Electrical have passed this examination and always apply this high level of safety standard to all our work.

* New fuseboards, with RCD-fitting (this is for safety. If there is a fault within your electrical installation or an appliance, this protects anyone from getting seriously hurt by touching an electrical appliance at the time of the fault)
* Testing. We test and inspect homes and businesses for safety. You will receive a test certificate to BS7671 standards and we guarantee our work.
