About Us
Our reputation and expertise have been continually growing since our company was established in 2003. We offer a whole range of tree services which we can provide to both domestic and commercial clients. We are happy to provide one off services for tree felling or to establish a contract for regular pruning.
We undertake work for the local council as well as several housing associations. We are proud to have highly trained and skilful staff, which means we offer a safe and reliable service. We provide a full and comprehensive arborist service with over 20 years of collective experience through day to day climbing operations and management. All aspects of tree work are carefully undertaken covering everything from planting and pruning to dismantling and felling. We treat each aspect of our service with equal professionalism and care – from meeting customers for the first time, to completing the work and finally clearing the site so that you wouldn’t know we’d been there. We hold "City and Guilds" craftsmen qualifications which includes tree science, biology, and working to the British Standard 3998. We have NPTC units which cover chainsaw use and climbing certification. We are a licensed waste carrier and all of our equipment is regularly LOLER inspected. A phone call will lead to a free site visit, advice and a fixed price written quotation.

Great Service - Truely a Cut Above
From first meeting to doing a border clearance on a neighbours tree 'A Cut Above' were polite and professional. Once they'd tidied up the sign they'd been was the fact we now have sun light in our garden. Great job!

Complex jobs done by real experts
I have employed 'A Cut Above' on several occasions to undertake work on veteran beech trees. Magnificent trees, years old, that need expert care and attention to detail if they are to live as long as possible and stay safe. You know that with this company you are going to get true knowledge, alongside efficient, courteous service. I trust them to deliver the best from intial advice through pruning and maintenance, to final take down and removal.

Highest Quailty at very resonable prices
As chair of a Kent residents society and owner of a garden with large trees, I have over many years had to go out for competative pricing on the managment and removal of trees Cut Above have always provided me with competative pricing and carried out the work to a very high standard

As the company name implies!
Firstly, the company will not undertake any work or quote a price without coming out and surveying the proposed job. This initial survey is arranged and conducted in a very professional manner and any problems with arrangements were communicated to us clearly and re-arranged with the minimum of fuss. The work conducted was excellent and there was no mess left whatsoever. Would recommend them to anyone.

Brilliant!!!
If you need any tree work, these are the people to use. The quote was very reasonable, they arrived when arranged and did a super job. They did all that was quoted for and left the area exceptional clean and removed all of the trees. So good, neighbours have asked for their name. Will not use anyone else in future.
