Over the years I have been to Sasoons and Andrew Collinge to have my hair done. After finishing working in Manchester I decided to look for a local hairdresser. I was very sceptical as I have tried local ones over the years and have found them to be lacking. After reading the above reviews I decided to try A Cut Above and have to say that I am annoyed it took me so long to get round to it. Since Jackie has been doing my hair I have had so many compliments. It's wonderful to find a brilliant local hairdresser. I have now been going there for nearly two years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I can thoroughly recommend this salon.

Fantastic hairdresser
Recently visted urmston from london and needed to have my hair done and went to A CUT ABOVE in flixton, and I have to say after 10 years of looking for a good hairdresser i found not one but three SUPERB hairdresser's in the names of jackie,helen and stacey. I had a full head of colour followed by a cut and blow dry and i'm now going to be making a 300 mile trip every 12 weeks for them to do my hair. The service was impeccable and the price was very good,( i've had my hair done by some of the top salons in london and paid through the roof for it and came out looking like i've been dragged through a hedge backwards!) This hairdresser's should be up there with the top salons and the staff are a credit to jackie, who is one of the best hairdresser i have ever had the pleasure of doing my hair. This may sound over the top but as you ladies know finding a good hairdresser these days is like gold dust and i feel i should share this little gem with everyone out there. Overall i came out with the best hair colour and cut I have ever had. I highly recommend this place and would not go anywhere else in future.

Fabulous and funky cut
Really pleased with my cut, young and fresh style and the colour is beautiful. I have not been anywhere else since. So good, that Im going back for my wedding with my bridesmaids!
