Avoid at all costs.

Avoid! I wish I could give this company zero stars. Having to deal with Mr Pargetter was one of the worst experiences of my life. Reminiscent of some sort of Dickensian villain, the man is rude, insensitive, dishonest and grossly unprofessional. I was appalled with the way I was spoken to during phone conversations and shocked by Mr Pargetter's unprofessional manner in general. I had to fight at every stage to have my Father's funeral the way my family wanted it, I felt bullied & ridiculed by Pargetter and deeply uncomfortable throughout the whole process which only added to the pain of my grief. Also we accidentally overpaid for the funeral services and after explaining the mistake and politely requesting the overpayment back Pargetter refused. Eventually after many many months of emails and calls and help from Citizens Advice (which was extremely stressful when I was grieving for my late Father) he claimed he had sent the money back, that he had sent a cheque, 3 times and all 3 been lost in the post. Also claimed to have had phone conversations that never happened. He lied continuously, I can only assume in an attempt to keep the money we overpaid, and avoided my calls for months. He only refunded my money when I sent him an official legal letter with help from Citizens Advice making it very clear I would take him to court imminently. The missing money was miraculously in my account within the hour. Avoid this company and this odious man at all costs.
