I was widowed suddenly and unexpectedly in the spring this year, leaving me stranded in a place with poor public transport and 3 children who needed taking to various clubs, hospital appts etc and I NEEDED to be able to drive, so at the grand old age of 39 I decided to try an automatic as I had lessons in manuals before and just couldn't do it, this time I HAD to be able to do it so an automatic it was. I was a very nervous pupil and I needed an instructor who was incredibly calm, softly spoken and showed no signs of getting annoyed with me and I found that in Dick Rew, he was the perfect instructor with the patience of a saint. With his wonderful tutoring I was able to pass my theory test with a score of 49 out of 50 and also pass my driving test first go with only 4 minor points. I put so much pressure on myself to pass because of how important it was to mine and my children's lives and I can't thank Dick enough for helping me through this monumental time in my life, I don't think he knew just how important it was that I passed, Thank you!
