I provide bookkeeping and other services to small and medium sized companies in the Bath Bristol Wells Frome Midsomer Norton and Radstock areas. It may be that you don't have time to deal with accounts yourself. Perhaps they are even somewhat out of control. I can handle these for you probably at a much lower real cost. The aim is to enable you to concentrate your time on the business itself.

Robust bookkeeping should enable you to run things in an optimal way giving clarity for profit generation and identifying costs which can be reduced. Accounting services are the bedrock but my experience enables me to offer much wider support to clients if and when required. This can be especially relevant for businesses which would like to see substantial profitable growth perhaps with the objective of a trade sale or flotation at some future date.

Services:

Accounting services: I provide bookkeeping services and my preferred accounting package is SAGE. The service normally includes dealing with VAT Returns, reconciling bank statements, dealing with Companies House matters, provision and discussion of relevant management reports including cash flow forecasts, raising invoices, debt collection, paying suppliers, and - through associates - payroll, statutory and audited accounts.

Business growth: Every business is different but I have: • launched several start-ups some of which have grown substantially • worked with many boards of directors to prepare annual budgets and business development plans • arranged patent protection for innovations • organised and completed the trade sale of a number of businesses

Cash injections: Most growing businesses, and some recovery situations, need injections of external funds from time to time, either in the form of equity (shares) or loans of various types. I have prepared many major investment cases for large companies, and at the small and medium sized enterprise level have secured investment funds from several wealthy private individuals, government bodies and banks.
