He has extensive knowledge of business development, strategy and growth and has spent the last 12 years advising companies, specifically at CEO/Board level, on a wide range of matters. He has an MD level background in an international plc and has personal experience of entrepreneurial activities, enabling him to bring insight and transferable skills from a structured corporate environment as well as from an investor/founder perspective. He combines a strategic approach with practical workable solutions.

Simon is a past Chair and Director of the Rotherham Training and Enterprise Council, a Chartered marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management, a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institute of Marine Engineers. He has a bachelor's honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and a master's degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Warwick Business School.
