I know Kevin inside out and will give a realistic non-biosed review to the best of my knowledge! Let's start with Sifu Kevin Ball's background, He has over 13 years experience in Wing Chun and over 10 of those years he spent teaching and has trained under various Masters throughout his career. Back in Essex he and I attended 4 hour private lessons with Sifu Kerry Green every week who is one of the most successful Sifu's under Master James Sinclair. We have trained with ex armed forces, bodyguards, doormen, and other masters and hard core practitioners alike and held our own with them. He later moved to Milton Keynes and after spending 2 years looking for someone suitable to progress his Wing Chun he found a great Master who is now his mentor Sifu Steve Dyde who quickly see Kevin's teaching potential and introduced him to Grandmaster Samuel Kwok who also saw Kevin's potential and they both granted him an instructor cert under their own associations and believe me when i say that you won't get a better background or linage with direct roots to Hong Kong than this!. Kevin's fitness, strength, speed, and agility was developed and enhanced by years of intense training in fitness techniques developed by myself as we went in depth with all kinds of training drills and techniques ncluding isometric's which we both developed with only one goal in mind, to enhance our Wing Chun, we could punch on average 12 times per second, break roof tiles suspended on string with a one inch punch and so we gained much respect and many people looked to us both for guidance! At our peak we used to train in a gym for over 11 hours a day. We've both run London Marathons with ease and in Wing Chun we trained against multiple assailants both blindfolded and handicapped but it didn't matter who trained with us as we never looked out of place. Kevin's skill and conditioning has with time become exceptional and would defiantly make him stand out in a crowd, he is without a shadow of a doubt one of the greatest sifu's you will find if not for his background an knowledge of the art or his people skills which students love and so come back time and again, then most defiantly for his security in his knowledge! He never hides anything from his students as he wants the best from them, and in my opinion anyone who has to hide knowledge and hold back techniques to make their self's look better is not a good practitioner and should never insult people by classing their self as a teacher! In fact they try to keep on top of students and new comers by using a self projected image to make themselves look good or god like in front of them, but if you break that image then that self proclaimed person will fall. Don't take my word for it get down to his class and find out for yourself you won't find much better sifu in Milton Keynes area trust me! Sifu Rich (Essex)
