AccountPro was established in 2001 by Paresh Udani, the managing director, who is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 20 years of experience of advising owner managed businesses (OMBs) and high net worth individuals (HNIs). Before setting up the firm Paresh worked for a number of top 20 firms of accountants, and in his latest position as a Director in Charge of a specialist OMBs/HNIs unit, he worked closely with many entrepreneurial business owners offering them specialist advice for growing their businesses and arranging their personal/business affairs in a most tax efficient manner.


In a short time the practice has grown rapidly and we now have clients in many diverse business fields such as information technology, travel, property investment/dealing, construction, restaurants and public houses, media and television, retail, manufacturing, management consultancy, opticians, doctors, dentists and journalists.


We are now highly respected by our fellow professionals such as solicitors and independent financial advisers with whom we have developed close working relationships for the benefit of our clients.


Our location, which is close to London underground/public transport facilities as well as the M1/M25 motorways, allows us to be within easy reach of clients in London and the South East.

Auditing

Are you looking for added value from your auditors?

Many organisations, mainly companies, require an audit or independent review of their accounts. For many years an audit has been misconceived as a complete waste of time and money, however, there are many companies that are not obliged to have an audit but request one each year because they get added value from the process.

At AccountPro, apart from providing the assurance that clients and specified third parties seek from an audit, we always strive to add value to our clients through the audit process. Recent examples where the audit process has led to improved business practice include:

recovery of VAT under claimed;
improvement in internal authorisation procedures to reduce risk of loss;
refund of overpaid legal fees; and
changes in cheque signing procedures to reduce risk of falsification.
As auditors we think it is essential to meaningfully interpret the figures in relation to your business as well as by comparing them to other organisations in similar sectors and of a similar size, where possible. We also look at trends in each client's business, typically over a 3 year period and share all this information with the client. AccountPro can prepare in-depth management accounts from the accounting records on a regular basis to allow the business owners and directors to manage their businesses from a confident and knowledgeable position. The management accounts allow you to react quickly to changes in the marketplace and ensure that you are driving your business in the right direction.

We can also prepare your annual statutory accounts for submission on time to the Inland Revenue and the Companies House ensuring that you comply with all legal requirements and the current accounting standards. We take the worry out of the process by working to fast and agreed deadlines.

Book Keeping and VAT

Are you looking for advice and ideas in addition to just calculations?

Many newly established or growing businesses need the flexibility of outsourcing their essential financial control functions to an outside expert such as ourselves. We can maintain a detailed record of your business transactions using computerised accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Sage on a monthly or quarterly basis. All that we require from you is your primary records such as a list of cheques received/paid out, sales and purchase invoices, and petty cash book or vouchers.

We can then provide you with management accounts to monitor the financial performance of your business and other information such as an aged list of the debtors (i.e. customers) for credit control purposes. We can also complete your VAT returns from the reports extracted from the accounting package and submit them to H M Customs & Excise once approved by you.
