36 Studley Road
Luton
Bedfordshire
LU3 1BB
A tranquil old fashioned hotel with big comfortable beds in a large tree lined road, on the edge of Luton Bury, and close to the lake and grounds of Wardown Park, and the historic Villa originally called Bramingham Shott. Personal bookings by the elderly landlord ensure that your stay is deeply discreet. The shared bathrooms are well managed and colonially reminiscent. The stately home trained cook serves traditional meals in the oak panelled dining room. Al fresco entertainment is encouraged in the secret herbaceous garden when the climate is clement. Reception is limited but guests are given their own keys. Notorious people have stayed.
