Great value and easy to deal with

We bought a 1930s semi in SE3 which had a completely neglected large rear garden. We obtained 5 quotes from various other landscape gardeners and companies servicing SE London. Most were extremely costly and were quick to highlight numerous complications relating to our own ideas. Jim from Acme Landscaping was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning. We were particularly impressed with the “That will be fine, we'll work something out" approach. Jim's quotation was detailed, included ALL costs, and was very, very competitive. Jim also provided great advice in a non pushy fashion. He left a very comfortable and trustworthy feeling with us, and hence, he was ultimately selected for the task. Our garden was in a rough condition and required a little over two weeks work including: a large paved area, garden beds, a large lawn with borders, gravel paths, and a large deck & pergola with large lattice screening. Other difficulties included no side access to the rear garden (everything had to come through and out via the house), and the torrential rain (June 2012). Jim and his team were polite, courteous and paid particular attention to cleanliness and a tidy work site. As the project progressed Jim was flexible, the few additions we added throughout the project were incorporated with little fuss and minimal cost. The price quoted by Jim at all stages, was the price charged. At the conclusion of the project the garden and work areas were returned in perfect condition and the work of a high standard. Jim made an anxious time both pleasant and exciting. We would highly recommend Acme Landscaping and indeed Jim, for their wonderful service. We are thrilled with the work done and with the entire process since the initial consultation. We have recommended this company to other couples moving into the area, and will not hesitate in using his services again, should that be required in the future.
