Who We Are
Active Adventures is a UK-registered private limited company. We have been providing amazing adventure activity holidays for 8 years to thousands of satisfied thrill-seekers. Our UK registered address is in Wokingham, Berkshire, however our Active team is based in Costa Teguise on the beautiful island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Don’t worry though, we provide a UK local-rate phone number, so it’s cheap to give us a call!

Our Mission

Our mission is to enable our clients to experience fabulous value-for-money activity holidays that meet their requirements for location, dates, accommodation, activities and preferred airport of departure. We believe in personal service before, during and after your holiday!

What About Our Story?

The company was established in 2005 by two brothers, Adam & Cameron Norsworthy. They both held a passion for water sports, living on Lanzarote, and wanted to bring the delights of the island to other like-minded people. Working with local activity providers, Active Adventures was born and attracted hundreds of holiday makers to Lanzarote to enjoy diving, surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. As the company thrived they expanded and experimented with new destinations reaching out to exotic places such as The Maldives and South Africa. Over the years we have refined our destinations to satisfy the demands of our clients and currently offer activity holidays in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal and six destinations in Egypt on the Red Sea. Adam and Cameron have since moved on to new ventures, however they both remain shareholders of Active Adventures and are in regular contact with the current management.

How We Work

Unlike traditional tour operators, we do not sell off-the-shelf holiday packages. This means our clients have total freedom to pick the destination, dates, flights, duration, accommodation and activities that work best for them. When you submit a holiday enquiry your request is passed to one of our specialist holiday advisors who will own your relationship with us before, during and after your holiday and at any time you may come back to us in the future. Our policy is to recruit people who share your passion for the sports, hence we’re all divers, surfers etc and can share your language! Your holiday advisor will discuss your needs and then build a package to discuss with you. We can then tweak it as much as you need to create the perfect holiday. And you get all this help for free as we don’t charge for our time and we don’t even charge commission on credit cards! Give us a chance and you will see why our customers keep coming back for more!
