If you have any old mobility aids you no longer need please do not throw them away! I will collect them, service and repair where necessary and then sell on. I will then make a donation to the rnli or raystede centre for animal welfare, you can choose the charity if you prefer.

A full service carried out on your mobility scooter or powerchair.

A full,service done properly should take at least one hour. It will include checking batteries, connections, motor brushes lubricating and points that need it. Wheels removed and checked. There is much more to it so this is just a brief rundown, please contact me if you'd like more details.

Best quality batteries supplied and fitted

I only fit high quality batteries from Strident and MK. Yes you can go on eBay and get a pair of batteries for around £35 but will they last 2-3 years? Probably not. It's worth fitting good batteries, they are the lifeblood of you machine. All batteries come with a 12 month Manufacturer warranty, in the event of a battery failing within that period both will be replaced free of charge. Prices are dependant on Amp Hour size, please contact me for the latest price. I can supply only if you'd like to fit them yourself.

Punctures a problem?

When you get a puncture on your scooter or powerchair we don't repair it as such, for safety reasons we replace the tube. The cost of having a new tube fitted starts at £30 for a regular sizes such as 3.00-4, 4.00-5. The cost will depend on the tube size. All costs are given in advance so you know how much it will cost. Other large companies charges start at around £45 plus the tube. Active Days Mobility Services £30 including the tube. I only fit tyres manufactured by Cheng Shin, Innova and Unelli as they are all reputable brands. I don't put cheap tyres on my car so why would I put them on your scooter or powerchair?

Best Quality used Mobility Scooters for sale

I have several used mobility scooters for sale at any one time, please see my website for details or give me a call. The depreciation of new mobility scooters is shocking! I know people that have spent over £2000 on a new scooter to then struggle to sell it a few months later for a few hundred pounds. Buying a quality used scooter is a great option, all are fully checked for safety, new batteries fitted and sold with a six month mechanical warranty and 12 month battery warranty. I look after my customers so if something did happen after the six months has ended I'd still look after them.
