Conman - steer clear

We found Jack Lamb of Adroit roofing last year through rated people & he did a few small jobs for us. He was polite & quick & I had no reason to doubt his integrity when he suggested he could provide me with a new fiberglass flat roof to replace a felt one. He quoted & went ahead with the job but instead of taking off the old felt roof & installing new OS boards & fiberglass on top, he simply painted gel coat on top of the old roof (90 pounds worth of materials) & said he had installed a fiberglass roof & charged me nearly 3,000 pounds. He continued his lie until he was caught & now will not return my money or respond to me. I have reported him to the police & trading standards & am currently taking him to court. Rated people & Yell have removed his profile after I informed them we have notified the police. Beware!
