Pick of the bunch
I've seen the band several times now; once at my local Village Hall for a 'Rural Show' and again at The Talbot Hotel, in Southport and its fair to say they have star quality. Both performances were great but at the Talbot they had a female singer and full 3 line horn section, just marvelous. 10/10. Its like being back in New Orleans!

Great gig at the Magic Garden
I booked the After Hours Quintet to play at the Magic Garden Pub a couple months ago on a Sunday. Both the customers and staff were so impressed that I've just had to ask them to come back to play again! It's rare that we get that much positive feedback from so many people. They started off playing as the traditional swing band and then slowly changed over to the electro swing version. They absolutely rocked the stage and had everyone up dancing by the end. They are very professional and easy to deal with, and clearly love doing what they do. Would very highly recommend.

After Hours Quintet at The Talbot Hotel, Southport
I recommended this Quintet to the Hotel owner after seeing them through Life and Local in Salt Village Hall, Staffordshire. They certainly did not let us down and their performance was very well received and appreciated by the knowledgeable audience attending the Jazz weekend who all hoped they would appear again next year. Their style of jazz, enthusiasm and energy were infectious.

Not your average wedding band!
What can I say these guys are simply GLORIOUS! Definitely not your average wedding band. We booked them after I saw them do Disneys King of the singers at Golden Acre Park (A personal guilty pleasure of mine) and asked them if they do weddings. Which thankfully they do! After starting with some more mellow swing outdoors as a duo, we had the pleasure of the full band in the evening. They played two full sets of upbeat swing as well as quirky covers of popular songs such as Moloko's Bring it back and Britney Spears Toxic, creating an electric atmosphere. What's more they gave it their all and you could tell they enjoyed themselves too. We couldn't have wished for more. Oly is a showman and got everyone dancing up a storm, but the whole band went above and beyond in our opinion to entertain and delight, they even co-ordinated the first dance and did our Dj set. They were very accommodating and flexible, and gave us all the reassurance we needed as our date came closer. This is important especially if like us you are arranging every detail by yourself (and therefore have no grounds for comparison). To have confidence in your suppliers is priceless. Big thank you to the After Hours Quintet. You ROCKED our wedding!!!

Corporate Event - Spot On!
I had previously seen the full band at a live music venue in town, however we wanted something for our company's Tenth Anniversary (afternoon Garden Party) and I knew they could do the job in an unplugged scenario too. It worked really well - carried by the bucket load of talent this crew have! Fantastic to have Suppliers and Clients all talking about music and enjoying the tunes in a business setting. Punctual, well mannered, good looking - will definitely get booked again....Cheers Fellas!

Cracking set!
Had the after hours quintet and band playing at our wedding. Both jazz and swing sets were awesome and was great that the band could do an extra wandering set during diner. The guys we're really professional and helped us out with borrowing gear for other bands and generally sorted everything our hassle free.

The perfect wedding band
We hired 'The After Hours' to provide the full days entertainment for our wedding. Starting out with some top notch gypsy jazz on the lawns as guests arrived for the reception, they captured the mood perfectly. They then did some walk about from table to table during dinner, which was fab. The headline set of Electro Swing had everyone up and dancing and to top it off they smashed a DJ set complete with live sax and lots of song requests in the bag. Honestly I don't think I could recommend these chaps highly enough.

Excellent Wedding Band
When I first contacted the band they were swift to reply, full of great ideas and eager to help. On the day they were punctual, professional and presentable. As for the music, I think I had goose bumps when they performed (as the After Hours Quintet I believe) their rendition of 'the man who sold the world'. They have a really clever take on so many of my favorite songs. The Electro-Swing set (The After Hours) was absolutely mind blowing too. Better than the records for sure...
