About us

We put people at the heart of our approach believing that real transformation and inspiration comes from within the real world. Today's consumers are creating their own trends, are more varied in their choices and have their own unique journeys. So it is even more important that we understand and work with them in their worlds to provide real insight and foresight.

Also, we manage our own dedicated panels of consumers and work with experts and influencers in their field to research, co-create, test and deliver our solutions. Our specialist panels have been grown organically, reaching people offline as well as online and recruiting via the ‘in-journey' process of consumers, being out in the field and not in the focus group laboratory

Agent was founded by brand strategist Alfie Sim, innovation expert Paul Coleman and insight guru Lynne Barcoe. The founders bring together their expertise and work within the real life journeys of consumers. Today, Agent works all over the world on many varied and interesting challenges; from inventing new snack foods, to refreshing global TV formats, to training corporate teams and driving organisational change.

We operate a team of over 100 Agent Associates around the world to ensure we always have the right people for your job. Our research panels are always evolving, including the acclaimed MumPanel. We also have specialised family, youth and senior citizen panels and are able to create bespoke panels for specific client requirements.
