Paul Mckrell and Richard Walton decided to turn their extensive engineering experience into a business supplying the finest stoves and fireplaces.

The business has grown over the past 20 years through a reputation and commitment to provide excellent service and after sales care to all its customers.

This led them to start Alcosa Engineering in 2001. The company now trades as ‘Alcosa' and specialise in high end heating equipment, fireplaces, chimney and flue work.

We have a real passion and expertise for quality and have carefully selected fine products and services to give our clients great choice, service and satisfaction.

We offer a complete package from initial consultation, demonstration, design and installation. We are Hetas accredited and registered for wood burning, solid fuel, stoves, fireplace and chimney work.

Our extensive showroom display offers a large selection of electric fires featuring the latest in electric technology, or gas fires for either LPG or natural gas. Browse our large selection of Eco2022 compliant wood burning fires, as well as fireplaces and hearths in wood, granite, sandstone, slate and glass.

We offer a fully bespoke HETAS registered service and work with Gas safe registered engineers so that you can be reassured that all work is to the highest standard and industry compliant. Whether your home is either a new build, listed, traditional or architect designed has an existing chimney, requires a false chimneybreast or requires twin wall flue. Relax in the knowledge that with Alcosa experienced in-house technicians all our work is carried out to the highest standards.
