a bit tired . . .
I had the single room. The decor was very tired and old-fashioned and the room was very dingy. Wallpaper with two patterns separated by a paper dado, peeling up in places. The carpet clashed badly with the rest of the decor. The bed did not seem that fresh either, it had maroon sheets which just didn't have that freshly-washed look or smell. I tried not to think about it. On arrival you go through a wooden gate into a fenced garden which was full of weeds and rubbish - not a welcoming sight. The breakfast was ok and staff friendly but there was very limited choice of cereals - no muesli. When I arrived the toilet was unflushed and the TV controller did not work. They advertise themselves as 'luxury b&b' which it just was not. Not worth £45, won't be going back.
