Established in 1986, Alpha Plastering is a small family run business covering all aspects of wall and ceiling plastering within a 15 mile radius of Reading.
We are highly experienced plasterers who have over 30 years of experience providing a range of plastering services to domestic clients in the local area.

Excellent
We would happily recommend Alpha Plastering. Leon provided a quote very quickly and work commenced almost immediately. Leon is friendly, efficient and very happy to offer advise where needed. We are very pleased with the plastering (skimming walls and covering artex ceiling) carried out by Leon and James and the very clean and tidy way in which they work. Will happily use again when we move on to the next rooms.Thank you!

Thank you for excellent work!
All our previous plastering work has been done by a different plasterer who was unavailable. We contacted Alpha Plastering who came out promptly, quoted for the job and appeared to do it the very next day- they knew we needed the job done as soon as possible. I was apprehensive about using a plasterer we knew little about. However, my worries were quickly allayed. Leon and his son James provided a first rate service. They flattened a large artexed ceiling, did loads of patching in blown areas, coved two ceilings and made good artexed areas where ceiling roses had been moved. James and Leon make a very good partnership and we are delighted with the results. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to friends. Thank you so much for your help!

Brilliant
Leon and James did a fantastic job on my crumbling kitchen walls and rusty beading. They were really efficient, turned up on the dot, worked very quickly and were so tidy that - but for the perfect walls - you wouldn't know they had been there! I would definitely use them again.

Excellent job!
Leon and James have worked for us twice now, firstly re-plastering new ceilings downstairs in our four bedroom refurbishment project, then skimming Artex ceilings upstairs. A lovely smooth finish, ready to paint, with great attention to detail. They work quickly and I have never seen plasterers that leave the site so clean. If you need a plastering job done efficiently and cleanly, I would highly recommend them. David Sutton

Excellent job
We had to call in Leon at short notice to repair a wall damaged during a kitchen refit. Not only were we very impressed by the quality and value of his work, but a number of other tradesmen involved in the project have commented favourably on the quality too. We will definitely use him again.

Short notice & great job
Leon & James came in and did and did an EXCELLENT job.I felt very comfortable to leave them alone in the house as I had to leave. They passed on some very helpful advice. Without question I will use them again and have passed on their details to friends and family.

A Job Well Executed
Leon and his son James did a great job of skimming all my ceilings in my house, he was very clean, efficient and great value for money. I was very nervous about getting a stranger into my house to do the work but Leon was extremely professional and put me at ease straight away. Faultless
They gave a great quote and did a faultless job on plastering two walls. One was tricky and above a staircase which I thought would cost me a small fortune. It didn't. They will be the only plasterers that I will consider using in future. I'm amazed and dubious as to why people would go to the effort of logging in here to score them low and not leave a comment to justify it. Competition perhaps...? I could not recommend them highly enough.

V Pleased with results
We initially found Alpha Plastering through The Book of Excellence [the little green book] and Leon came and quoted straight away and managed to slot us in quickly around their other scheduled work. We are really pleased with the results and were pleased with the price and very impressed by the speed of the job. Leon and John his son are very friendly, hard working, helpful and a pleasure to have around. Leon has seen it all before and we appreciated his good advice and his flexibility in his approach. Absolutely no hard sell or pressure to get more work done than we wanted. We will be getting more rooms in the house plastered by them in the coming weeks and months. Would recommend to anyone.

Delighted to have chosen Alpha Plastering
We've been refurbishing a house in West Reading over the last 3 months, and hired Alpha Plastering on the basis of a recommendation on a local website. It was a great decision, and we ended up getting almost all the walls and ceilings renewed/refurbished. Leon and son were great to deal with throughout: professional, punctual and friendly (even the cat was inseparable from them!). The work is great (lovely smooth finish for paint) and has been widely complemented. Happy to be a reference.
