Damaged bumper and now trying to cover it up
Had my car into Alton cars huddersfield for accident damage , came back great and was happy with the work , 2 week later i notice my bumper hanging off so on closer inspection noticed that a bracket that holds my bumper on had been snapped off and a blob of glue had been put there to hold the bumper in place , contacted the garage and was told that they glued it back on as a gesture of goodwill !!!!! and if i bring it back they will put another blob of glue on to hold it ! They didnt phone me or tell me they found the bracket snapped and that they had done this ( obviousley didnt want me to know they had done it and didnt want me to see it ) The glue wasnt even put on the bit they snapped off either ! Told them that i had the bumper off a couple of months before and the part they have snapped off was not damaged in anyway and had not had any repairs to it ! Now i cant get them to answer a simple question as to why my bumper was in the correct place / position when it went into them if they say the part was already snapped , there is no evidence of it being repaired or glued before it went into them so they are covering this up ! Cant believe that a big company like this would let something like this get this far without trying to resolve the problem amicably , looks like im going to have to now get legal representation and an outside company to resolve this matter !

Great Job
Great job by Alton Cars Huddersfield. Wasn't sure if they'd be able to repair the car, but the turnaround has been quick & my car looks as good as new. They even delivered the vehicle back to me. Hopefully I won't need to use them again, but would recommend their services.

Awful service!!
ABSOLUTLY AWFUL!!!! Do not us this company if you are looking for a professional experience. I unfortunately had to use them to repair my car through my insurance policy, I own a clio and the side panel needed replacing they first estimated 10 days for this. Once the completion date arrived I was txt by the company saying it would not be ready for a further 5 days. When ringing them to ask why i was met with bundles of excuses and un professional blah blah!! Finally it was the day by car was to be finished I rang at 9am to see when I could pick it up, when the receptionist said it would be finished within an hour but they would ring me before hand to let me know. Two hours passed and i called them again to see what was going on! They had gotten my car confused with another clio and mine would not be ready untill 2pm. Do not use this company!
