These guys are just con artists. All they want to do is drill the door in. charge 80 for that then sell you a cheap lock for another 80, and then charge you another 80 for installation. so £240 pound in total.. They have no interest in opening your door without non-destructive means. Cos that would mean they cant charge as much. Remember there is always another way to open a door without destroying it. Always! you just have to give it some thought, i got my door open by other means by forcing them to do it that way. And in hind sight i could have just done it myself. Read on for more details... I had a PVC door and got locked out. I called and their a so called 'engineer' came. Here's me thinking he will come and try to pick the lock or try and open the door without destroying the lock. The 'engineer' only glanced at the lock and told me it wasn't possible to pick the lock. Or open it by any other means. I said can you at least try? He refused! said my only option was to drill. I knew that it would still be possible to open it but he wasnt trying as its more money for him to drill. In my desperation i went ahead with drilling. Just when he was about to begin i realised that the door could be opened by just taking it off the hinges. I asked him to try that. He tried and it worked! Door came off without any breaks since it hadnt been fully locked. I dont understand why he did not try any other means to get the door open other than destroying. This company is full of con artists rather than locksmiths or engineers....
