Very disappointing
I am not sure what connection if any this establishment now has to the Amber Regent in the city centre, although there cleary is one (see www.amberregent.com). In any event this was a huge disappointment. Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup was so glutinous a spoon could stand up in it. Deep Fried Won Tun was oily and tasteless. Main course of Sauteed King Prawn with Vegetables in Oyster Sauce was dreary and flavourless. Crispy Duck was served with limp and discolouring cucumber and spring onions. The waitress was unwelcoming (though she did change the soup) and her English was semi-coherent.The worst Chinese meal I can remember. Avoid!
