My story

I have always been creative in some form or another, but my passion for design started as a child, when I dreamed of creating stunning ball gowns, wedding dresses and all the beautiful sparkles that went along with it.

When I eventually got to Art College and took my first jewellery class, my love of creating with gems was truly crystallised.

After leaving college, I went on to become a very successful wedding photographer working alongside my Mum, but my passion for jewellery and craft never left me, although it remained a hobby.

When working as a photographer, I saw how the market was sadly lacking a place from where people could get high quality, bespoke pieces of jewellery, shoes and accessories at affordable prices. So when, for personal reasons, we had to stop taking bookings as wedding photographers, it gave me a perfect opportunity to turn my love of this craft from a hobby into a career and thus Anara Designs emerged.

At Anara Designs, we pride ourselves on creating luxury, elegant, one-of-a-kind designs for any special occasion. It's important to us to take the time to understand our clients and their needs as we love seeing the pleasure that our designs give them and knowing that we have fulfilled their vision!!

Another love of mine, like with most women, is shoes and more than anything, different shoes so when I started Anara I couldn't wait to create a very individual shoe range.

I started hand embellishing the shoes with lace and crystal which made beautiful bridal shoes that could be totally personalised to match the dress, but I wanted to get more creative so I started the hand-painted shoe range which really is creative and totally different.

We also specialise in pieces designed especially for you working from your ideas to match a dress, colour scheme or theme.

Our aim is to bring you the highest level of service and personal care. From your first appointment, you will receive one-on-one attention from Sarah lou who will explain and guide you through the entire process of commissioning your one-off piece, whether it be a pair of hand-painted shoes, a crystal bouquet or a simple set of jewellery. We believe that attention to detail is especially important and so we only use the highest quality materials in creating our designs.

EACH PIECE IS HANDMADE AND DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU AND WILL BE UTTERLY UNIQUE.

At Anara Designs we specialise in bespoke designed pieces made especially for you such as jewellery, hand-painted or embellished shoes, gifts, accessories and many more. We can work from your ideas, to match an outfit, wedding dress, theme or colour scheme, making it personal and totally unique.

We believe that attention to detail is especially important. We handmade everything using only the highest quality materials in creating our designs, such as lace material, Swarovski Crystals, pearls, gems, and hand-carved mother-of-pearl flowers. Our aim is to bring you the highest level of service and personal care.
