A neurological physiotherapist is a physiotherapist who is specialized in the treatment of people who have suffered an injury to the central nervous system. Common neurological conditions include Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Spinal cord injuries, head injury, Motor neurone disease, Cerebral palsy, Huntingtons Disease, polyneuropathies and other degenerative conditions such as cerebellar degeneration. Our services offer: In depth specialist assessment and neurological rehabilitation treatment which is challenging but achievable Goal orientated treatment, Home exercise program SAEBO FLEX programme, Advice and assistance on maintaining fitness, Access to Pilates, reflexology and massage, Acupuncture in neurological conditions provided by a neurological physiotherapist, Specialist seating/ wheelchair and Postural assessment and needs, Assessment and advanced rehabilitation using the Bioness FES H200 hand orthosis and the L300 drop foot orthosis.
