Not proactive and wrong invoice

I would not use them again. I used Anderson Solicitors at Croydon for conveyancing services when I bought a property in Nov 2009, on the property agents referral. They were always very courteous all throughout and corrected their faults when highlighted. But the issues were basic and did not expect it to have happened. Once I paid initial deposit and signed up to them, nothing was happening for few weeks. I chased and never got a response. So had to engage the property agent at which point they responded. My file was picked up only then. Later on, when I received an invoice, I was shocked by the volume of errors. There were so much of wrong information and calculations in it, including deposit I had to pay for property to amount due to solicitors. I fed back my comments and received apologies and an amended version which was wrong again. I finally corrected the invoice and sent to them, which they agreed and accepted. After the process was completed, I asked a favour to find out if there is a possibility of claiming money from seller/surveyor/agent because the electrical wiring condition was not disclosed. They said they would let me know but that was it. I do not like to chase people up for services I deserve and do not like receiving incorrect products created by experienced professionals. But as I said, the solicitor was always very polite and courteous.
