Be cautious not to get ripped off

BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT GETTING RIPPED OFF BY THIS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON I hired Andrew Birch in February 2021 to repair my gutters on three sides of the house and clean them. It was a 1.5. hour job and I paid £200 cash and it seemed effective at first. On one of the three gutters he removed a bracket 'to increase the angle so that the water travels down'. A year on, the three gutters he 'fixed' are all leaking badly as soon as it rains and the one where the bracket was removed is now about to fall apart. I called him to ask to come and fix it as he had committed to a 2-year guarantee in February 2022 and he said to call him back later that week to arrange a time. SAt that time as my call was unexpected he answered the phone. I called back a few days later as agreed and since then he has ignored my calls and the 6 voice messages I left over 8 weeks and of course done nothing. I will now have to repay someone else to sort out his poor job. I can see from some of the reviews that other people had better services and experiences but if you are do not want to risk it you need to be aware that this guy can be entirely untrustworthy and dishonest.
