Dishonest and terrible customer service

Terrible customer and service and unethical – trying to overcharge for time they were not at the property. Plumber was to arrive 7.40am and I took the morning off work. I received a call 15 minutes before the plumber was due to arrive saying that the plumber had been re-routed to a customer whom they looked after 100 properties for and hence he would come later. I complained and they called back and indeed managed to send me a plumber half an hour later. The plumber was friendly, couldn’t find the source of the leak (these things happen) and was gone in 40 minutes. I then receive an invoice in the mail charging me for 75 minutes work – in effect trying to charge for the time the plumber was re-routed and was not even at my property! I called the company, and they did not apologise – stuck to their story – but did agree to reduce the invoice to 60 minutes from 75 minutes – minimum call out charge they said. Not a problem – but the manner in which they tried to overcharge me is appalling and unethical. I do not recommend this company and there are many other honest plumbers out there.
