Went to AHF Lincoln and bought an extendable dining room table. Had a delivery 2 weeks later as agreed, but they delivered the wrong one. We were asked to keep the smaller one delivered whilst they ordered the one we had paid for. Despite many phone calls to their 'customer service' number, we have been fobbed off each time and now been waiting 11 weeks!!! As we aren't prepared to wait any longer, last week asked for a refund, but despite promises that the area manager would phone us on Monday have heard nothing. I wouldn't shop again at AHF as although the shop staff seemed pleasant enough, they have NO CLUE when it comes to customer needs and don't care once they've got your money!!! STAY AWAY!

Ordered 1st jan 2013, Thats about the only part of the service which deserves a star, was told 10 - 12 weeks delivery time. 12 weeks can and went, no call from store. I called them and was told " its because of the Chinese New Year shutdown" I thought and said "This happens every year so why wasnt I informed of this at point of purchase, no plausible reply was given apart from aplolgies, was told another 3 weeks. 3 weeks came and went and after 5 weeks I rang them as I had not received any calls from them. Was told told another 2 weeks at least and was offerd, after demanding some compensation, a £100 refund to my card. So eventually after 20 weeks and no calls from them apart from arranging the actual delivery we recieved the sofa. On delivery day the drivers started to bring in a cream sofa where we had ordered a black 1, this wasnt to our surpirise after they way this order had gone. Fortunately they had a black 1 on the front of the lorry so they had to unload other orders to get to it, and they brought it in. Problems didn't end there either. My wife ask them to assemble the corner unit to fit out room, they said it wouldn't go that way, whereas it would as my wife had pre measured our room before we embarked on our sofa search. So thay assembled it their way and left it to us to reorganise it ourselves. Our conclusion is DON'T USE AHF AS ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN FORGET ABOUT FACT THAT YOU ARE A CUSTOMER AND EXPECT A SEVICE OF WHICH THEY CAN STICK TO WHAT THEY QUOTE AT POINT OF SALE.
