I offer various massage and healing modalities, all of which relieve tension, promote a deep sense of well being, calmness, and some welcome 'time out' from your busy schedule. You chose from remedial, relaxing or structural release massage treatments or beautiful energy work that will bring balance and peace to your mind, body and spirit. I will either work on the whole body or target specific sporting injuries and problem areas. You prioritise what you need the most and we will decide on a therapy plan or individual treatment.

Because I want you to get the most out of each session, I customize each treatment to each receiver and don't work to strict routines. I have been a body worker for a long time and am trained in a variety of modalities. For clients this means that I can inject variety into your treatments ; for me it means that I can accompany my clients on their journey to wellness in a way most suited to them.

Myofascial Release

The fascia is a connective tissue that can become stuck and rigid resulting in pain, loss of movement and general immobility.
Myofascial release (or trigger point therapy) is a safe and very effective way for treating skeletal and muscle immobility and pain. Gentle and sustained pressure is applied which relaxes the contracted muscle and improves the blood flow and lymphatic circulation by stimulating the stretch reflex, restoring motion and reducing pain.
This is a slow and gentle treatment applied onto skin, without the use of oil.
This treatment is a firm favourite as a stand alone or as part of a massage for many of my clients.
