We employed Apex to do a loft converstion and were delighted with the end result. All the guys were friendly and professional and we were delighted to follow Mr Woodcock's suggestions for the velux window combinations which had a massive impact on the room! I would have no hesitation recommending Apex. Diane c Apex was recommended to us by previous customers who had nothing but praise for his workmanship. Paul, the owner of Apex came out to see us with innovative ideas and a reasonable quotation. The work was carried out on time and efficiently with not too much mess and disruption to the rest of the house. The six velux windows which were installed have transformed the room, which now feels light and airy. The staircase design that Apex created meant that we didn't loose any space from existing rooms and also kept the loft room large without taking out space for the entrance. The conversion has created well needed and loved space within our house and we cannot recommend Paul and his team enough. If you want an innovative design and an exceptional finish on your conversion Paul is the person to call. John G Apex were called in to renew a 110 year old roof that was leaking badly. Paul showed us that we would be able to double the amount of usable space in the roof with a loft conversion. The conversion process gave us a huge usable space with lots of natural light. The use of modern insulation also made it the warmest place in the whole house - Anyone who lives in a old house will realize what an advantage this is! We now have a modern space sitting neatly at the top of a period property Paul helped us keep the traditional feel throughout by commissioning new doors that match the existing ones in the house. Money worth spent Cristos p After moving into a renovated mill we were disappointed to find that the builders had covered the old beams and steel work in the roof with a modern suspended ceiling. After recommendations we contacted Woody at Apex. Even though the project was four stories up Woody was happy to take on the project. He provided a quote that I am please to say remained fixed. To add additional light two Velux windows were added to the roof. He arrived bang on time with a motivated workforce. The project was completed in 4 days ready for his plasterers. I must say that everyone who sees the room with the exposed beams and Victoria ironwork are really impressed. I would recommend Woody without hesitation.

Great service
We used Apex Loft Conversions to convert the loft of our terraced house in 2003. We had previously spoken to several other firms but decided to use Apex because they came up with the best solutions to the design problems caused by the layout of the property. This involved lowering the ceilings on the upstairs and re-siting some of the internal walls to make best use of the space. This sounded quite daunting to us, but the Paul (Woody) made sure we knew exactly how it was going to happen, and the Apex guys made it all look easy. The project finished on time and on budget, and the results were fantastic. I would recommend Apex to anyone thinking of a loft conversion.
