Fantastic Service
After years of using compact cameras to just "point and shoot" I was introduced to Stuart Reid from Apex Photographics. After booking a 4 hour 1-2-1 lesson with Stuart which covered all aspects of my camera from shutter, aperture, P and manual modes to ISO and white balance along with understanding F stops and exposure values, followed up with some practical work out and about for 2 hours, I decided to upgrade my bridge camera for a DSLR. I have since attended the Apex Photographics 8 week “Extended” course and have also just this week booked to go along with friends to a one day course at a local falconry centre where I hope to take advantage of my camera’s shutter speed mode combined with a great day out. Stuart Reid is a fully qualified teacher and is therefore very adept at teaching all aspects of photography in easy to understand terms. He has endless patience and a cracking sense of humour which make his courses informative and fun. Apex also offer a mentoring service which I think is a fantastic idea to perhaps offer clients who might not necessarily want to join a course but who want the benefit of ongoing support from a tutor who gives honest, clear and concise advice and encouraging feedback. I am delighted with how much I have learnt from Stuart over the past 8 months and will continue to use his services as and when required……I have and will continue to recommend Apex Photographics to friends, family or anyone else willing to listen and would give this local business 10/10 for customer service and satisfaction.

very poor service
I would caution anyone considering using this company for photographic work. The owner was extremely rude on the phone and the customer service is appalling.

Apex photographics complete let down
Our experience with this company was extremely upsetting and disappointing. The customer service is appalling. We were treated poorly and very rudely. I would caution anyone considering using this company for photography work.
