Making a good machine even better!
I booked a visit from the Apple Mac Mechanic to install an SSD drive into my 27" iMac, having read about the procedure on the internet. I knew you needed some specialist tools like glass suction pads, that there were a good number of tricky connections to plug and unplug and that there was a large and fragile screen to remove so I decided to leave the job to someone with prior experience. And you know what? I'm glad I did. Lee was thorough, professional, cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful and the SSD installation went without a problem. The iMac is now as fast as all the other computers in the house (or faster) and my kids are very happy indeed :)
