Historically I started with my father's box camera. This travelled around the UK from Lands End to Mukle Flagga at the top of Shetland, and in between visited Jersey, Chester, Northern Ireland, Hebridies and Orkney Islands and more besides.
Now a long time 35mm user with both Kodachrome and now Velvia transparency film, print and now digital RAW as well.
My long term photo portfolio divides conveniently into three modules.

1. Nature Photography
I have practical experience of growing flowers, fruits and vegetables including green house . A long time interest in trees, wild life habitats and eco systems. Macro and close up are a long time special interest. The ranges of flowers fruit and vegatables available has never been as exciting as at the present and is on going photographically and information wise.

2. Travel.
I have visited most parts of the UK and Western Europe. Also Majorca, Tenerife and Egypt. I have an increasing portfolio of photographs and information radiating out from Middlesbrough Tees Valley NE.

3. Architecture
I rate architecture as second in interest to nature. Craftsman ship over many centuries is contained in buildings, especially Churches and Cathedrals. The interelation of religious buildings and history is also a very interesting subject.
Structures such as oil rigs, cranes and artistic structures such as Angel of the North continue to grow in variety.

A local photographer specializing in Nature, Travel and Architecture. With some 50 years experience I have a considerable photo library. Flowers, fruit and vegetables along with arrangements of same form a significant part of my photo library with a special interest in MACRO photography. With a mini studio I can work with both plant material and still life. Information on photo's and subject material is also an important part of my service with key word analysis and information down loaded as well as written material
