Testimonials

“Tankfastic!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2013 Where do I start.....a fantastic experience from start to finish. Easy to find on the sat nav but well signposted anyway. Very warm welcome. We are a family of five inc three teenage boys, aged 18, 17 & 16. We had booked the tank paint balling for the three boys but my husband and I went along for the ride at £15 each. We were introduced to our instructor Shane, a great character, professional but loads of fun. We were kitted out with helmets and nbc suits and helmets, it was very muddy underfoot so take the right footwear. After a briefing in the tank, each of the boys took a turn in driving. They then all had a go at aiming, arming and firing. We had a short break for a tea and time for a quick bite to eat. The sandwiches were lovely and personally I wouldn't bother taking a picnic as they were so good, though there are facilities for that. During the break Shane briefed the boys on the upcoming battle. I won't reveal too much about the battle but suffice to say we all had a great time! There are photos to be bought afterwards normally £20 pp but they had an offer on and it cost us £45 for our family of five, they came on a disc and the quality of them is excellent. There is a museum which is well worth a visit with some very interesting vehicles and exhibits. I cannot recommend this experience enough. It was worth every penny. Go....you will be assured of a great experience which will leave you grinning from ear to ear! Visited October 2013

“Tank driving experience - awesome” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 March 2014 Booked a tank driving experience as an anniversary present for my long suffering other half. It was awesome. There's not much you can say about driving tanks, they're big powerful things that are (relatively) easy to drive and it's impossible not to have a big smile on your face as you go through the mud. I'm really not a petrolhead at all and driving experiences aren't usually my thing, but I really enjoyed this. I'd recommend it to anyone. Our instructor Luke was excellent - very informative and friendly. The headline attraction is the tank paintball and we may have to go back to try that out sometime. A great activity for a family with teens or a group of friends. It also has an excellent museum on site - it is mentioned on the website but it's much better than I thought it would be. Definitely worth leaving a bit of time to wander round and imagine driving that Sherman tank! The booking process was simple and easy as well. Visited March 2014
