I bought my RangeRover from Armstrong Massey, York, and since then I have spent thousands with them on servicing, tyres etc., but never again. I put my car in for a full service which cost me £1300 + which is fair enough for a RangeRover, but when it came back the reversing camera was broken. It was working when the car went in. They came and took the car away again, had a look, and said it was probably a broken camera which would cost £500. After a lot of arguing, and the intervention of LandRover head office, they agreed to pay for the labour charges, but not parts. But they've messed up my trust in them. They were very quick to say it needed a new camera, and it seems too much of a coincidence to me that a camera that has always worked fine, suddenly broke when it was with them for a day. So I'm going to get a competent auto-electrician to fix the problem, and I will never use Armstrong Massey, York, again. I did, by the way, take it to a mechanic to have a look, and he said he is always hearing about things like that about Armstrong Massey in York. Please spread the word if you know anyone in the York area with a LandRover or RangeRover...
