We are a niche law firm specialising in personal injury litigation.

We act only for injured claimants.

We do not act for defendants (individuals, companies and public bodies responsible for causing injuries) or their insurers.

About Us

Our staff have years of specialist personal injury experience and our IT and business systems are totally client-focused, which means that the injured claimant is at the heart of everything we do.

We are based in Cheadle, south Manchester, yet we act for clients the length and breadth of England and Wales (Scotland and Northern Ireland have separate legal jurisdictions).

In straight forward cases with a relatively modest value, a face to face interview is rarely necessary.
Many clients find it more convenient to deal with things by telephone, fax and email as well as by post.
However, in any case which merits it, we will visit you at your home address or even in hospital and at a time to suit you.
We are a small, two-partner law firm. Partners William O'Brien and Philip Andrews were colleagues and fellow partners with national law firm Russell Jones & Walker until William left to become sole proprietor of Ashfields in 2004. Philip joined him in 2006.
