I have just had my car repaired at Jd automotive and would like to say im very pleased with the service, they collected my car and delivered me a courtesy car, kept me updated throughout the repairs, then returned my car looking better than new and collected my courtesy car. Only thing i would say was phone lines are very busy.

Disgusting behaviour
Other reviews have touched on this firm's appalling practices. My vehicle was put in for repair here by my insurers. The repair took three weeks for a job which required a week at most and I was supplied a dirty hire car, which I returned clean. Not being able to inflict further charges for "valeting" or "excess mileage", they then illegally held my vehicle and told me to leave their premises, alleging their hire car had been damaged. Threats of Police involvement and some three hours of calls from the insurers eventually got my car released. The matter has been passed to Trading Standards, and formal complaints lodged with insurers.

Never use this garage!
I also had an awful experience with this garage. My insurance company put them forward to do repairs to my vehicle. Whilst my vehicle was in their possession they not only done half a repair but one of their staff kindly removed the concealled car phone from the vehicle and had a good snoop at whatever else they could find!!!!!!! Much to my disgust i have never had an apology from the company regarding this incident and would urge other customers to find an alternative garage!!!!!

Unless you have to dont use this company
I recently had to use this company as they were the authorised supplier for my insurance company. I contacted them to ask how my car was doing and they informed me that my car was ready for collection and DEMANDED that I come in to collect it the next day (which was extremely difficult for me at such short notice). I did manage to book the morning off work and arrived on site to be told that my car wasn't actually ready but should be within the next 15 minutes. Nearly an hour later they informed me that my car would not be ready that day. Nearly a week later I am still waiting for my car to be returned to me. Although my complaint is genuine, this alone would not have led me to write this, however the hour I spent in their waiting room was more uncomfortable than waiting for a dentist appointment and I honestly believe that not one customer that arrived during the time I waited left satisfied. I therefore wanted to write this not just for myself but on behalf of all those other customers who left dissatisfied. Oh they also give you courtesy cars dirty but try to charge you if you give it back without cleaning it.
