Boxes for Soldiers.co.uk; for anyone servicing in the British armed force, Royal Navy, RAF or British Army, this website is completley free to use and will help you ask for and hopefully get the items you need or want.
Simply sign in add a few details, no phone numbers nor full address, just enough so that your friends and relations know it is you. Then list all the items you need or want and share by email or socil media like Facebook or Twitter etc and make sure all the people that will or want to send you care packages get the link to see waht you need. Then your friends make a list of the items they are sending, you will be notified (to ammend if necessary) and then once they actually put everything together and go to the post office, they simply click the button on the mobile app to say the items are on their way. Now you have some control over what you get. Obviously your friends and relations will put other surprises in there too, but atleast they will know what you actually need and you will not be over run with too much of something or receive too much 'junk'.
