Bangla Spice is great!

This fabulous new restaurant has a modern, light ambience with a bar and reception/takeaway area plus a variety of table shapes, seating up to 100 clients with the tables laid with fine linen and quality cutlery. Having had a superb takeaway the week before my wife suggested that we take our daughter and two granddaughters for a Saturday evening curry. We were warmly met by the Manager (Jamal, who most locals know from his excellent customer care at other local, prestige, Indian restaurants). We ordered from the diverse menu, while enjoying Cobra lager and white wine. Fresh Poppadums with a selection of sauces were delicious, followed by starters of chicken tikka, lamb kebab and meat samosas, all scrumptious and beautifully presented in elegant long dishes with a mixed salad (and an olive). The main courses of Chicken Korma, Chicken Madras and Chicken Tikka Bhuna tasted authentically spiced, served with fragrant Pilau Rice (and some chips for the girls!) on elegant plates that enhanced their presentation. Everything was so delicious it was quickly consumed leaving little room to choose one of the many desserts on offer. Our granddaughters had their ice cream served in little elephants which they loved and could take home. Looking at the restaurant menu and take-away prices (25% less) we realised that Bangla Spice are extremely competitive for an ‘up market’ NW restaurant. We all agreed that Jamal, his chefs and waiters had looked after us really well with the authentic spicing of the dishes and friendly efficient service. The whole dining experience had been perfect, we shall revisit Bangla Spice soon. Bangla Spice is definitely recommended to all North West curryholics!
